First new year wedding shoot.

Well the season kicked off in style with my first assignment of 2009 the wedding of Jo & Steve Singleton at St Gennys church near Crackington Cornwall, the groom and his best man Ben were on good form when I arrived on the saturday at 9.30am I started of with a few moody shots in natural light and ended with the best man and groom in the bath and almost ended in a soaking when I knocked the tap on accidently, the whole day was a lot of fun and made even better with all the very friendly guests, I took the last shot outside under the light of a lampost opposite the Falcon hotel, a romantic kiss between bride and groom and by placing a flash unit and pocket wizard behind Jo's dress I lit the whole of the Falcon up with the wireless trigger shooting from the other side of the canal, then it was time to say goodbye to Jo & Steve who were soon to be setting off for a Cuban honeymoon lucky blighters, and head home for a well deserved beer or three. My best wishes go out to them both and hope they have a long and happy relationship. June and July are quickly filling up with bookings and also taken a few for 2010 already so book early you lovebirds out there. Here are a few favourite images from the day.
